Quality and Certifications

Mussari srl has a state-of-the-art laboratory equipped with advanced machinery capable of conducting tensile tests, hardness tests, destructive tests and chemical analyses.

Our internal laboratory is able to perform:

TENSILE TESTING IN ACCORDANCE WITH EN ISO 6892-1/ASTM E8 AND HOT TENSILE TESTING IN ACCORDANCE WITH EN ISO 6892-1/ASTM E8
Mussari records the values of Rp0.2, Rp1, Rm, and the percentage of elongation for each conducted test. Hardness and microhardness testing in accordance with EN ISO 6507/ASTM E384/ASTM E92 are performed at the request of the customer. Mussari can conduct microhardness tests ranging from 0.01HV to 30HV. Competence scales used: HR, HRA, HRB, HRC, HV.

DESTRUCTIVE TESTING ON TUBES
This includes crushing tests (EN ISO 8492/ASTM A370) and flaring tests (ASTM A370).

OTHER NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTS

• Eddy Current testing is carried out on 100% of produced tubes, according to EN 10893-1/10893-2 or ASTM E426-E573-E309.
• Measurement of internal and external roughness.
• Chemical analysis through spectrometry.
• Material identification (PMI).
• Dimensional checks.
• Visual inspection.

For tests on request we use 17025 accredited laboratories.
